Shavkat Mirziyoyev presented new initiatives aimed at supporting teachers during a meeting with educators and mentors in the Bostanliq district of Tashkent region. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Starting from the beginning of the new year, for teachers with the highest qualification and 15 years of experience, 25 percent of the initial payment for a mortgage loan will be covered by the state. Additionally, when the children of teachers enter state higher education institutions, a 30 percent discount will be given on the contract fee.
Teachers will have the right to receive a preferential loan of up to 10 million soums for purchasing a computer. Also, payments for state services will be reduced by half.
Domestic travel ticket prices will be discounted by 15-20 percent for teachers of higher education institutions, schools, and kindergartens ranked locally and internationally. These new benefits are aimed at improving the financial condition of teachers and strengthening their social protection.
