At the event, the region's achievements in recent years, new opportunities, and future plans were discussed in detail. Over the past eight years, more than 7 billion dollars of foreign investment have been attracted to Namangan region.

As a result, nearly 8,000 new manufacturing and service enterprises have been launched. The export volume has doubled, with over 1,000 types of products being exported.

By the end of the year, it is planned to attract 4.2 billion dollars in investment to the region, increase export volume to 1 billion dollars, create 323,000 new jobs, and lift 26,000 families out of poverty. The President proposed implementing the “Center of Development and Leadership” program.

Within this program, 328 neighborhoods and other areas in difficult conditions will be selected and granted the status of “President’s district” and “President’s neighborhood,” with additional opportunities provided. In recent years, the poverty rate in the region has decreased by two and a half times, the average salary has reached 4.5 million soums, and 62,000 citizens have returned to their homeland within two years.
