An important initiative will be implemented in the 2025-2026 winter heating season to support the needy segments of the population. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
In November, a one-time financial aid of 1 million soums will be provided to families identified by the “Unified Social Protection Registry,” the “Poor Families Registry,” and the “Mahalla Yettiligi.” Currently, nearly 816 thousand families are registered in the “Unified Social Protection Registry” and the “Poor Families Registry.”
Additionally, the “Mahalla Yettiligi” has identified and registered more than 317 thousand families as needy. The financial aid will primarily be given to the following categories: families who have lost their main breadwinner; families with members who have disabilities of group I or II; caregivers of disabled children; residents of houses not using gas or central heating systems; households where three or more family members live together; persons suffering from serious illnesses or those in need of care from others.
Those wishing to receive aid must submit their applications to the “Mahalla Yettiligi” at their place of residence by September 25. This initiative is considered an important measure aimed at strengthening social protection for the population.
