This significant event took place on September 20 in New York City. The event was attended by Uzbekistan's Foreign Minister Baxtiyor Saidov and Kenya's Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora Affairs Musalia Mudavadi.
They signed the official document establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries. After the signing ceremony, Baxtiyor Saidov emphasized that Kenya is one of Africa's fastest-growing and most stable economies.
He also noted that Kenya is currently recognized as one of the region's leading centers in technology and innovation. During the discussion, the parties explored broad areas of cooperation that serve the interests of both peoples.
This cooperation aims to expand opportunities for the development of trade, investment, technology, and cultural sectors. Additionally, Kenya became the 163rd country to establish diplomatic relations with Uzbekistan.
