On September 20, 2025, at around 13:00, a fire broke out in the Burchmulla State Forestry located in the area adjacent to Yakatut village in Bostanliq district, Tashkent region. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Upon receiving the fire report, forestry officials, more than 40 workers, as well as a 10-person volunteer fire-rescue team made up of local youth and employees of the district internal affairs department arrived at the scene. Thanks to their prompt and coordinated actions, the fire was completely extinguished by 14:40.
According to information, approximately 1.5 hectares of dry grass burned as a result of the fire. The cause of the fire is attributed to S.D., a resident of Yakatut village born in 1956, who did not follow safety regulations during the welding process of a drinking water metal pipe.
For this reason, an administrative report was drawn up against S.D. under Part 3 of Article 84 of the Administrative Liability Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Necessary preventive measures are being taken regarding this incident, and citizens are urged to strictly observe safety rules in forest areas. Source: zamin.uz
