The procedure for determining the amount of the super-contract by the rectors of higher education institutions for the 2025/2026 academic year has been introduced. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
From now on, the super-contract fees for additional admissions for students will be set by the heads of higher education institutions. These changes are based on the new decision of the State Admission Commission.
According to the new procedure, the right to determine the amount of the super-contract for applicants who scored 56.7 points or higher but were not recommended for direct admission is assigned to the rectors. This practice aims to expand the capabilities of higher education institutions and create equal conditions for applicants.
For applicants who did not reach the admission threshold of 4.05 points, the payment amount is set according to the Regulations. For those who scored above 4.05 points, the super-contract fee must be at least three times the base contract fee.
The amount of the super-contract will be approved by September 25, 2025, and published on the official website of each higher education institution. Additionally, applicants are given the opportunity to pay 50 percent of the fee by October 31, which helps them continue their studies.
Students recommended for admission to bachelor's degree programs based on state grants or super-contracts according to entrance exam results will have the right to study on a super-contract basis in their first chosen field according to their preference. At the same time, state orders for foreign and non-governmental higher education institutions in Uzbekistan have been approved, and additional grant and paid contract places have been allocated for the youth of Karakalpakstan.
This new procedure serves to strengthen students' interest in education and expand access to higher education. The improvement of the admission system based on paid contracts and super-contracts creates new opportunities for quality education in higher education.
