Payment deadline extended, contract terms updated
For the 2025-2026 academic year, the deadline for paying at least 25 percent of the tuition fee for applicants admitted on a paid-contract basis to state higher education institutions in the republic has been extended. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Now, the final date to make this payment is set for October 30, 2025. This change aims to ease the financial burden on students.

Additionally, for applicants admitted to higher education based on recommendations and interviews who have at least five years of work experience in economic sectors, the tuition fee on a paid-contract basis has been doubled. This creates conditions that correspond to their qualifications and experience.

According to the decision of the State Commission, a total of 1320 state order parameters have been approved for foreign and non-governmental higher education institutions operating in the republic for the 2025-2026 academic year. These parameters provide applicants with clear requirements and conditions and open new opportunities for youth.

From September 29 to October 5, 2025, applicants admitted on a paid-contract basis to foreign and non-governmental higher education institutions will be given the opportunity to register in accordance with the state order parameters. This process expands the pathways for youth to enter higher education.

Test exams for registered applicants will be held by October 12, 2025. Based on the results of these exams, a new stage of admission to education will begin.

These decisions are of great importance in developing the education system and creating favorable conditions for youth. Cooperation between state and private higher education institutions will be strengthened, increasing young people's interest in higher education (source: zamin.uz).
