A handwritten letter was found on the gate of the recently relocated house of the governor of Norin district, Namangan region, following the President's visit. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The content of the letter was also published in reports circulated on social media. In the letter, citizen Salima Qoldosheva addressed Governor Jorabek Nurmatov, speaking about their family being left homeless.
She emphasized that her mother passed away in hardship, that she is married, and that her brother is still homeless. She also stated that they have not been able to return to their home for 13 years.
On September 24, the Norin district administration issued an official statement regarding this letter. The investigation revealed that the citizen had not previously contacted the governor or the district administration.
Currently, measures are being taken by the district governor to provide practical assistance to Salima Qoldosheva. Among these, she has been registered in the “Women’s Register.”
Additionally, since her brother A. Qoldoshev is abroad, a video call conversation was organized with the participation of the neighborhood youth leader.
Within 10 days, it is planned to resolve his migration issues and other problems. Although the Namangan regional administration previously reported that the governor had moved into a container house, social media shows that the house where the letter was written is not a container and is surrounded by a fence.
This incident is being widely discussed on social media and is increasing public and citizen attention to the activities of local government bodies and issues of social justice. Source: zamin.uz
