The number of new companies in Uzbekistan has increased

From January to August of this year, nearly 58.5 thousand new companies were registered in Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This figure has increased by 1.1 percent compared to the same period last year. The highest number of new companies were established in Tashkent city, with their number reaching almost 12.8 thousand.

The second place is held by Tashkent region, where nearly 5.8 thousand companies were registered. The third place is occupied by Khorezm region, where more than 5.2 thousand organizations started their activities.

The lowest number of new companies registered was recorded in Sirdaryo region, where the number of established companies was less than 1.5 thousand. This information was provided by Kursiv Media (source: kursivmedia.uz).

The increase in the number of newly established companies indicates a rise in the level of economic activity. By region, the capital and its surrounding provinces remain leaders in company creation.
