According to the sample survey data of households by the National Statistics Committee, the share of women regularly using the internet in Uzbekistan reached 93.1 percent in January-August 2025. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
During the same period, the internet usage rate among men was even higher, reaching 95.3 percent. These figures indicate the growth in the gender distribution of internet usage and the level of interest in digital technologies.
The share of women internet users has changed over the years as follows: 72.6 percent in 2021, 81 percent in 2022, 87.3 percent in 2023, 92.4 percent in 2024, and 93.1 percent at the beginning of 2025. Additionally, the internet usage rate among men has also increased year by year, starting from 80.6 percent in 2021.
These data show that the level of internet usage among the population of Uzbekistan is steadily increasing. This indicates the development of digital infrastructure and information technologies in the country.
