
According to the data from the National Statistics Committee, Uzbekistan's total import volume reached 28.5 billion US dollars in January-August 2025. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This figure represents an 11.8% increase compared to the same period last year. During the reporting period, the country imported various goods and services from more than 170 countries.
In terms of import volume, China ranked first, delivering products worth 8.5 billion dollars to Uzbekistan. Russia is second with 5.4 billion dollars, and Kazakhstan ranks third with 2.1 billion dollars.
Additionally, Turkey with 1.2 billion, Korea 1.1 billion, Germany 774 million, India 734.3 million, Turkmenistan 581.6 million, Belarus 478.5 million, and the USA 416.3 million dollars worth of products are highlighted as main trade partners. The total value of imports from other countries amounted to 7.2 billion dollars.
Moreover, in recent years, Central Asian countries have significantly increased their import volume from the Gulf countries. In 2024, the trade volume between the region and the Gulf countries reached 3.3 billion dollars.
