President Shavkat Mirziyoyev raised important issues regarding family problems, youth upbringing, and the social environment in neighborhoods during the meeting held on October 14. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The head of state particularly emphasized the necessity of ensuring family stability and increasing responsibility. According to him, nearly 32 thousand families across the country divorced this year.
Additionally, it was noted that more than 16 thousand parents evade paying alimony, and some men abandon their families and children burdened with credit debts. The President assessed these situations as warning signals for society and stressed that neighborhood leaders, local governors, elders, and the public must keep these issues under close attention.
He stated that getting married is not just a union between two young people, but a great responsibility involving the fate of children and obligations toward the future. The meeting also discussed the importance of prenuptial agreements to prevent children from facing financial difficulties during divorces.
Such agreements protect the rights of family members and ensure the interests of children during the divorce process. Shavkat Mirziyoyev also drew attention to the negative consequences of early marriages and marriages between close relatives among youth.
He emphasized that such marriages often lead to family conflicts and harm the upbringing of a healthy generation. The head of state noted that strengthening family culture, responsibility, and mutual respect in society is an important task.
For this purpose, it was noted that active promotion in neighborhoods, organizing explanatory work in educational institutions, and maintaining constant communication with youth are necessary. Thus, the President’s speech demonstrated that a new approach is required regarding family relations, economic responsibility, and the fate of children.
