Water meters from Russia and Ukraine banned in Tashkent
During an inspection at the “Orikzor” market in Tashkent, water meters of the “Eko nom” brand manufactured in Russia and the “Novator” brand produced in Ukraine were identified. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Analyses conducted by the Technical Control Inspection showed that these meters do not comply with current standards. Using these meters may result in incorrect recording of water consumption, errors in statistical data, problems in resource planning, and cases of excessive water usage.

For this reason, the sale and use of these types of water meters manufactured in Russia and Ukraine have been officially banned. This decision was made to ensure accurate and reliable water consumption and billing (source: zamin.uz).
