Plan to improve transport movement in Tashkent approved
The Tashkent city administration has developed a new plan to improve transport movement and reduce traffic congestion in the capital. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to the information, entry and exit posts to the city will be relocated in the coming days. This measure is aimed at reducing congestion and facilitating the flow of entry and exit.

Additionally, dedicated lanes for buses – the BRT system – will be introduced. Within the framework of the new project, 10 streets will be covered with a total length of 51 kilometers.

According to the administration, this system will be implemented on Shota Rustaveli, Shahrisabz, Amir Temur, Yangi Sergeli, Maxtumquli, Mirzo Ulugbek – Feruza – Yuzirobod, Lutfiy, Muqimiy, Nuravshon, Qoratosh – Kokcha Gate, and Alisher Navoi – Beruniy streets. Funding of 126 million dollars is planned for the project.

In the administration’s opinion, these changes will modernize the transport system and significantly increase mobility in the city. Source: hokimlik.uz.
