
According to the State Statistics Committee, the average nominal monthly wage across Uzbekistan amounted to 6 million 166 thousand soms in January-September 2025. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This figure represents a 19.2 percent increase compared to the same period last year. The highest growth was recorded in Tashkent city.
In the capital, the average monthly salary reached 10 million 379 thousand soms, increasing by nearly 19 percent compared to last year. Wage growth was also significant in the regions.
In Samarkand, the average wage was around 4.8 million soms, in Namangan 4.5 million soms, in Sirdarya 4.9 million soms, and in Fergana about 4.5 million soms. Salary increases across all regions ranged from 19 to 25 percent.
Analyzing by types of economic activity, the largest growth was observed in the entertainment and leisure sector. In this sector, the average wage reached 5 million soms, increasing by 22.8 percent.
Growth in the education sector was 19.8 percent, and in transport and logistics 16.7 percent. The highest monthly wage was recorded in the information and communication sector, amounting to 14.9 million soms.
