
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić signed a Joint Declaration and a number of documents in Tashkent to further strengthen cooperation. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
At this event, a total of eleven documents were adopted. The signed agreements cover cooperation in the fields of economy, investment, healthcare, tourism, education, science, culture, and advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence.
Additionally, documents were signed on training diplomats, labor migration, sports, and the development of partnership relations between the cities of Tashkent and Belgrade. Before the signing of the documents, the two heads of state held negotiations with official delegations at the "Kuksaroy" residence.
During the meeting, mutual projects were discussed, and it was agreed to hold the first meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission in Tashkent next year. The negotiations also thoroughly covered new routes of the "Central Asia – Balkans" transport corridors, labor migration, and cooperation in cultural-humanitarian and educational fields.
