New tariffs for hot water and heating supply services will be introduced in the city of Tashkent. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This was announced in the decision of the capital's mayor dated October 27, 2025. The new tariffs will take effect from November 12, 2025, and apply to centralized heating supply services provided by Veolia Energy Tashkent company.
According to the decision, VAT-excluded tariffs are set as follows: the main tariff is 711,641 UZS/Gcal, for the population 139,860 UZS/Gcal, for budget organizations 952,797 UZS/Gcal, and for legal entities 342,296 UZS/Gcal. The company states that these changes are being implemented to modernize the energy system and improve service quality.
Due to state subsidies, the capital's residents do not pay the full cost of thermal energy. Approximately 80 percent of the expenses are covered by the local budget.
Additionally, the collected funds will be spent on the development of heating and hot water supply, as well as on the repair and renewal of infrastructure. In recent years, losses in the heating system have decreased from 44 percent to 33.4 percent.
This serves to save resources, ensure the stable operation of the system, and improve heating in homes. Experts emphasize that the new measures will help increase energy efficiency while ensuring uninterrupted hot water and heating services for the population.
The new tariffs for the capital's residents will be introduced gradually, and the quality of service will be improved accordingly (source: zamin.uz).
