
It is planned to establish a joint center to monitor the cybersecurity of banks in Uzbekistan and Slovakia and to oversee the cargo transportation processes. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This initiative was discussed during a meeting between the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the Prime Minister of Slovakia, Peter Pellegrini. The parties also reached an agreement to increase mutual trade turnover.
According to the agreement, textile products, leather goods, and fruits and vegetables will be exported from Uzbekistan to Slovakia. From Slovakia, rubber, automobile spare parts, and pharmaceutical products will be supplied.
Additionally, the first forum involving the rectors of higher education institutions from both countries is planned to be held in Bratislava in 2026. Furthermore, tourism exhibitions and Tourism Days are envisaged to be organized to develop cooperation in the tourism sector.
