A warning has been issued for the residents of Tashkent region. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the Hydrometeorology Service, a sharp change in air temperature is expected from November 5 to 7. This may cause an avalanche risk in the mountainous areas of the region, including Bostanliq, Ohangaron, and Parkent districts, particularly in the Chotqol range.
Experts recommend that citizens, drivers, and vacationers take precautionary measures. Special caution is required when traveling near mountain roads and recreational areas.
The avalanche risk is likely to be higher mainly in the morning and evening hours. During this time, the sharp temperature changes destabilize the snow layers.
In this regard, it is emphasized to avoid approaching dangerous areas, to move carefully on mountain roads, and to regularly monitor official weather information. It is reminded that starting from November 4, the weather across Uzbekistan sharply cooled down, with snowfall and strong winds especially observed in mountainous areas.
According to the Hydrometeorology Service, such weather conditions may persist for several days. Citizens must pay serious attention to safety measures.
