
A warning has been issued for the residents of Tashkent region. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to specialists from the Hydrometeorology Service, due to a sharp change in air temperature from November 5 to 7, there is a risk of avalanches in the mountainous areas of the region, including the districts of Bostanliq, Ohangaron, and Parkent. It is especially emphasized that this risk is high in the Chatkal range.
Citizens, visitors to recreational areas, and drivers moving in mountainous areas need to be cautious. It is recommended to avoid approaching dangerous areas and to take special precautions when traveling on mountain roads.
Experts have stated that the avalanche risk will increase further in the morning and evening hours, caused by rapid temperature changes. Starting from November 4, the weather across Uzbekistan sharply cooled, with snowfall and increased wind observed in mountainous areas.
The Hydrometeorology Service announced that the weather instability may continue for several days. Therefore, citizens are advised to regularly monitor official weather information.
