
On November 6, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, visited Washington, D.C. on a working visit. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
During the visit, he held a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House. This was announced by the press service of the head of state.
At the meeting, Donald Trump highly appreciated the negotiations conducted by the President of Uzbekistan with representatives of the U.S. government, major American companies, and financial institutions. During the talks, bilateral cooperation issues were discussed, and ideas were exchanged on strengthening economic relations in the future.
At the end of the visit, Shavkat Mirziyoyev invited Donald Trump to make an official visit to Uzbekistan at a convenient time. It was emphasized that this invitation would serve to further develop friendly relations between the two countries.
