From January to September 2025, nearly 3.1 million tons of potatoes were produced by all types of farms in Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The State Statistics Committee provided this information. The highest potato production was recorded in the Samarkand region.
In this area, 631.9 thousand tons of potatoes were harvested. Following were Tashkent region with 320 thousand tons and Fergana region with 317.4 thousand tons leading the production.
The least amount of potatoes was collected in Tashkent city, totaling only 429 tons. In the Sirdaryo region, 60.1 thousand tons of potatoes were produced, marking the lowest figure among the regions.
