A new privilege has been introduced in higher education for children of medical and pharmaceutical workers who have at least 15 years of work experience in state medical institutions. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the presidential decree, 30 percent of the annual contract fee paid for undergraduate studies at higher education institutions in the republic will be covered by the state for children of such employees. At the same time, this amount is set not to exceed 15 times the base calculation amount.
According to current calculations, this amount equals 6 million 180 thousand soums. This decision was made to encourage specialists working in the medical and pharmaceutical fields and to assist their children in obtaining higher education.
This arrangement not only provides financial support but also serves to interest the children of medical and pharmaceutical workers in higher education. According to experts, this initiative expands educational opportunities for the children of sector employees and fosters a positive attitude towards their professions.
