An important cultural event was held in Tashkent within the framework of the seventh Council meeting of the Central Asian countries' leaders. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
At this meeting, the leaders of neighboring countries in the region, as well as the President of Azerbaijan, closely acquainted themselves with the activities of the Center of Islamic Civilization alongside the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The guests visited the historically significant Qur'an Hall and had the opportunity to become familiar with the Uthman Mushaf, which is highly valued in the Muslim world.
This rare manuscript is considered one of the oldest sacred sources in Islamic history and is an important historical heritage expressing the spiritual unity of the peoples of Central Asia. During the visit, the heads of state reviewed the main sections of the center, including exhibitions such as "Civilizations Before Islam," "First Renaissance," "Second Renaissance," and "New Uzbekistan – New Renaissance."
These sections widely displayed the scientific heritage of great scholars such as Imam Bukhari, Imam Termizi, Abu Mansur Maturidi, and Bahauddin Naqshband, as well as manuscripts, historical publications, and ancient Uzbek translations from the eras of the Samanids, Karakhanids, Khwarezmshahs, and Timurids. The visit to this center once again demonstrated the regional leaders' attention to the common cultural and scientific heritage, as well as their respect for historical identity.
This event played an important role in strengthening cultural ties among the countries of Central Asia. Information: zamin.uz.
