The weather in December will be warmer than usual
Preliminary information about the weather conditions for December has been announced. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to the Hydrometeorological Service, December of this year is expected to be slightly warmer than usual. The average monthly temperature will be 1–1.5 degrees above the normal indicator.

In the first ten days, nighttime temperatures are expected to be between 0–5 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperatures between 10–15 degrees Celsius. In the second and third ten-day periods, temperatures will be variable: nighttime temperatures may drop from 2–7 degrees Celsius to 0–5 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperatures may fall from 12–17 degrees Celsius to 2–7 degrees Celsius.

Precipitation amounts are forecasted to be close to or below average. In January, the weather is expected to be even more variable.

Overall, temperatures will remain near normal, but some areas will experience colder conditions. During the first and second ten-day periods, nighttime temperatures may vary from 3–8 degrees Celsius above zero to 3–8 degrees below zero, and daytime temperatures may range from 10–15 degrees Celsius above zero to between 2 degrees below zero and 3 degrees above zero.

In the third ten-day period, severe cold is expected: in most regions, nighttime temperatures will be between 12–17 degrees below zero, and daytime temperatures between 5–10 degrees below zero. In Nukus and Urgench, nighttime temperatures may drop to 20–25 degrees below zero.

In February, the weather will mostly be close to long-term averages. In the first ten days, anomalous cold will be observed: nighttime temperatures may be between 5–10 degrees below zero, and daytime temperatures between 3 degrees below zero and 2 degrees above zero.

In the second and third ten-day periods, the weather will warm up: nighttime temperatures will rise from 2–7 degrees below zero to 3–8 degrees above zero, and daytime temperatures will increase from 0–5 degrees above zero to 10–15 degrees above zero. In southern regions, temperatures will be even higher, with daytime readings reaching 15–20 degrees Celsius.

This will bring a spring-like mood to February. Source of information: zamin.uz.
