Komil Ismoilovich Allamjonov has been appointed as the authorized representative of the Presidential Administration in the USA. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This decision was made on the instructions of the head of the Presidential Administration, Saida Mirziyoyeva. Allamjonov will continue his work as an independent public advisor since June of this year.
This appointment is directly related to the activities of the Business and Investment Council between the USA and Uzbekistan. This council was established in November in accordance with a presidential decree, and its main task is to coordinate strategic business initiatives, develop and oversee major investment projects.
The council is headed by Saida Mirziyoyeva on the part of Uzbekistan and by special representative Sergio Gore from the USA. According to the decree, starting from January 1, 2026, a new position – Advisor Ambassador – will be introduced within the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the USA.
The holder of this position will report to the head of the Presidential Administration and assist the head of Uzbekistan's diplomatic mission in the USA in developing bilateral relations.
