Today, extraordinary sessions of the local councils of People's Deputies were held in Gulistan city, G‘ijduvon and Bo‘ka districts. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
These meetings were held in a critical and analytical spirit, with direct participation from regional leaders. During the sessions, existing problems in the areas were thoroughly discussed and the performance of the leaders was evaluated.
The main focus was on reducing poverty, increasing employment, and implementing new investment projects. The activities of the leaders of Gulistan city, G‘ijduvon and Bo‘ka districts in these areas were found unsatisfactory.
Therefore, organizational issues were reviewed and appropriate decisions were made. In Gulistan city, Khojimanov Jamoliddin Khusniddinovich was relieved of his position as governor.
He was replaced by Oktamjonov Farrukh Oktamjonovich, who previously served as the first deputy head of the Sirdaryo regional Department of Internal Affairs. In G‘ijduvon district, Ashurov Sherzod Rakhimovich was dismissed from the governor's office, and Umarov Farhod Baqoyevich, who worked as director of the "G‘ijduvon" free economic zone directorate, was appointed as governor.
Also, in Bo‘ka district, Begmatov Bakhtiyor Pakhriddinovich was relieved of his position, and Isoqulov Sardor Dadajonovich, who served as governor of Parkent district, was appointed in his place. These changes indicate the demand for effective resolution of socio-economic issues in the regions and higher performance from the leaders.
