The Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation in Southeast Asia was first signed on February 24, 1976, in Bali, Indonesia. This document defines the main principles of cooperation among the countries in the region.
Among others, principles such as adherence to legality, strengthening peace, and resolving arising disputes through reasonable and flexible measures are enshrined in the treaty. Uzbekistan's accession to this document is an important step in expanding international cooperation and attracting new investment opportunities, contributing to strengthening the country's position in the region.
