According to the decision of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, enterprises polluting the air in Tashkent city will be relocated to industrial zones. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
These measures are being implemented to improve the ecological condition of the city. In particular, requirements for industrial facilities operating in the evening and nighttime will be strengthened.
Additionally, the procedure for issuing environmental permits and licenses to enterprises is planned to be revised. The use of vehicles that do not meet environmental standards will be prohibited, and strict control over the use of chemicals and fuel will be established.
A special commission will be formed to identify facilities negatively affecting the city's ecology. Within three days, factories, construction sites, and vehicles will be thoroughly inspected.
Once the enterprises causing air pollution are identified, specific measures compliant with environmental requirements will be applied to them. Furthermore, installing special irrigation and cleaning systems at construction sites to reduce dust and ensure air cleanliness will become mandatory.
Proposals will be prepared to temporarily restrict or suspend the activities of enterprises that do not comply with environmental requirements. Through these measures, it is aimed to resolve Tashkent city's ecological problems and create comfortable living conditions for the population.
