
The Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Saida Mirziyoyeva, paid a working visit to the Republic of Karakalpakstan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
During the visit, she familiarized herself with the activities of several industrial enterprises that recently started operations in the region. Mirziyoyeva shared her thoughts on the developments underway at the enterprises, the achieved results, and future opportunities.
As Saida Mirziyoyeva emphasized, important steps are being taken in Karakalpakstan to develop new industrial sectors and expand modern production processes. The new enterprises will not only enhance the country's industrial potential but also make a significant contribution to the development of the regional economy.
During the visit, Mirziyoyeva closely examined the activities of "Karakalpak BasaltWool" LLC, which produces heat-insulating mineral plates from basalt. While talking with the company's specialists, she noted that the level of using local raw materials and supplies in production has reached 80 percent, which is noteworthy.
Projects like these are of great importance for increasing export potential in the region, creating new jobs, and ensuring employment. Saida Mirziyoyeva stressed that these large-scale projects being implemented in Karakalpakstan have strategic significance not only for the region but also for the entire industry of Uzbekistan.
