Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has approved the establishment of "Business Companion" centers to create new opportunities for entrepreneurs. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
These centers operate on the "one-stop shop" principle and provide state and private services in one place to support entrepreneurial activities. These services cover processes ranging from business registration to assistance with exports.
These centers are planned to be established under the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Entrepreneurs can receive consultations here on accounting, tax issues, certification, and exports.
Additionally, they will be offered services from banks, insurance companies, brokerage, and logistics. To create further convenience for entrepreneurs, a unified electronic platform and a 24-hour call center will be launched.
During the presentation, the President also touched upon plans to increase export volumes. Uzbekistan aims to reach an export volume of 45 billion dollars by 2030.
Analyses indicate that the country has significant potential to increase exports in the fields of construction materials, textiles, electrical engineering, food products, household chemicals, mechanical engineering, and metallurgy. Source: one.uz
