A special meeting on environmental issues was held in Tashkent
Saida Mirziyoyeva, head of the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan, organized a special commission meeting on December 2 in Tashkent to discuss urgent issues related to improving the environmental situation. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Information about this was provided through the commission's Telegram channel. The meeting was attended by Aziz Abduhakimov, Chairman of the National Committee on Ecology and Climate Change, Shavkat Umurzoqov, Mayor of Tashkent city, Zoyir Mirzayev, Governor of Tashkent region, and representatives of other responsible organizations.

They presented reports related to their fields, highlighted existing problems, and offered proposals for their resolution. According to the report, air pollution is under the special attention of the head of state, and scientific research is being conducted on this issue.

Alongside local specialists, foreign experts have also been involved in this process. Saida Mirziyoyeva assigned specific tasks to the commission members.

According to her, it is necessary to implement each measure within a certain timeframe and to prevent air pollution next year through systematic work. Additionally, the government and responsible agencies were required to take additional measures to expand green areas, restore the canal system, reduce industrial waste, and improve the ecological environment.

Saida Mirziyoyeva emphasized that negligence in these matters is unacceptable and demanded weekly reports from the mayors of Tashkent city and region. These initiatives serve to ensure the ecological safety of our country and protect the health of the population.

Such measures are of great importance for the well-being of our people.
