
In 2025, Uzbekistan plans to allocate 900 billion soums to protect atmospheric air and improve the ecological environment. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
These funds will mainly be directed towards modernizing filtration and air purification systems in industrial enterprises, as well as expanding ecological programs and activities. According to Jamshid Qo‘chqorov, the Minister of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan, these funds are of great importance for protecting public health and the environment.
According to Jusipbek Kazbekov, Deputy Chairman of the National Committee on Ecology and Climate Change, an additional 548 billion soums are planned to be allocated through the state budget in 2026. The main goal of these projects is to reduce the negative impact of industrial waste, decrease air pollution, and improve the quality of life for the population.
In particular, the modernization of filtration systems will significantly improve air quality and ensure the sustainability of the ecosystem. The measures being implemented to protect the environment serve to create conditions for a healthy life for the population, reduce ecological risks, and promote sustainable development in the country.
