President reviewed the development works in a prosperous neighborhood in Sirdaryo
During his visit to Sirdaryo region, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed the construction works carried out in the Bostan neighborhood of Gulistan city. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This neighborhood received the status of a prosperous neighborhood this year. All multi-story buildings in the area were renovated, and the surroundings were beautified.

A new building of the neighborhood center was put into operation. The President met with activists, elders, and youth in the neighborhood and held a sincere dialogue.

During the meeting, the effectiveness of reforms aimed at solving grassroots problems across all regions of the country, developing neighborhoods, and improving the living conditions of the population was discussed. Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized the role and importance of the neighborhood in society and noted the necessity of further developing this institution.

In the area, 48 multi-story buildings were renovated, and their exteriors were covered with basalt. To improve heat supply, a modern boiler house and 3.3 kilometers of heating networks were constructed with funding of 18 billion soums.

Twenty-three individual heating points were installed in the neighborhood, establishing a "closed" system. Internal heating systems of 20 multi-story buildings with 800 apartments were updated using the local budget.

Additionally, one kindergarten was provided with centralized heating and hot water supply. As a result of the new boiler house, an annual saving of 144 thousand kilowatt-hours of electricity and 627 thousand cubic meters of natural gas is expected.

The President gave instructions to create comfortable conditions for the population, introduce modern technologies in the construction and operation of boiler houses, and attract qualified specialists. At this location, the President also discussed neighborhood life and ongoing changes in the region with representatives of the "seven" and elders.

Under a special program aimed at developing infrastructure in Sirdaryo region, 215 multi-story buildings have been covered. Within this program, repair works on roofs and facades of buildings, improvement of heat supply, development of engineering networks, and landscaping of the area are planned.
