According to Uzbek legislation, individuals have the right to export certain goods from the country without paying customs duties. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
However, this process is carried out based on strictly defined regulations. These regulations were introduced to determine the quantity of goods and to simplify customs procedures.
The following quantities of goods can be exported without paying customs duties: rice – up to 3 kilograms, bread and bakery products – up to 5 kilograms, meat and meat products – up to 2 kilograms, sugar – up to 2 kilograms, vegetable oil – up to 2 kilograms. Additionally, freshly harvested fruits and vegetables, grapes, melons, legumes, dried vegetables, and fruits can be exported up to 40 kilograms.
If it is planned to export goods exceeding these quantities, they must be declared in accordance with customs legislation. This procedure ensures compliance with national laws, prevents excessive customs payments, and regulates customs processes.
