An automobile factory and industrial center will be launched in Sirdarya

Next year, a new automobile manufacturing plant will be launched in the Sirdarya district of Sirdarya region with the participation of Chinese partners. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This project was announced at an extraordinary session of the Council of People's Deputies of Sirdarya region held in Sirdarya region with the participation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The total value of the project amounts to 122 million US dollars.

In addition, this year the Central Asia International Industrial Cooperation Center was launched in Sirdarya. At this center, 14 industrial enterprises worth 300 million dollars will begin operations.

It is planned that the enterprises will start full operations in the first quarter of next year. By 2026, 40 new projects worth 720 million dollars are expected to be implemented.

In Saykhunabad district, a new working system was introduced, and through the development of small industry and service sectors, the income of the population increased. The district's residents effectively utilized their garden plots, increasing their monthly income several times over.

Specifically, 5-6 sotik greenhouses were built in 1,800 households, and 2-3 sotik greenhouses were established in another 622 households. At the same time, 700 new entrepreneurs started their activities in the district, 15,000 people obtained a permanent source of income, and 1,500 families succeeded in overcoming poverty.

During the session, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev highly appreciated the changes in Saykhunabad district, noting that this area was previously one of the most difficult regions, but today the living standards and mood of the population have significantly improved. Additionally, information was provided that 52 new buses were brought to Gulistan city this year to develop bus routes along internal roads.

These buses run on compressed natural gas and fully comply with the "Euro-5" environmental standards.
