The start date of the winter holidays in schools in Uzbekistan has been confirmed. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, the winter holidays in general secondary schools will begin on December 28 of this year. At the same time, in accordance with the government resolution adopted in 2017, the holidays for primary grades (grades 1-4) are scheduled to start on Saturday, December 27.
This gives younger students one extra day of rest. The holiday period lasts 14 days and ends on January 10, 2026.
Since January 11 falls on a Sunday, classes for the third quarter will begin on Monday, January 12. This winter holiday not only provides students with a good rest but also creates favorable conditions for preparing for the new academic quarter.
This decision was made to positively impact students' health and the learning process.
