It is planned to bring the activities of cultural heritage sites and museums in Uzbekistan to a new level. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
In this regard, an important draft decision aimed at developing museum services and increasing tourist flow through the introduction of modern technologies is being prepared. The document is expected to be approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.
This decision aims to expand services in museums, create comfortable conditions for visitors, and introduce digital technologies. Within the framework of the project, the opportunity to take virtual tours of museums and sites will be created.
Visitors will be able to obtain detailed information about exhibits through QR codes. Additionally, it is planned to simplify processes such as using museum services and purchasing tickets through special mobile applications.
The decision also outlines a comprehensive program of measures to enhance the potential of cultural heritage. For this purpose, a special Organizational Committee will be established and tasked with coordinating the activities of all responsible agencies.
The main directions are as follows: digitizing entrance tickets to museums and archaeological sites, gradually converting items in museum collections and archival materials into digital form, creating interactive maps and QR-coded information for sites, as well as developing virtual tour platforms. It is also planned to create a personal brand for state museums, update official websites, and develop mobile applications.
To increase tourism potential, organizing info tours, attracting foreign and local tourist companies, optimizing ticket prices, and adapting exhibitions to a modern format are also included. This decision serves not only to preserve cultural heritage but also to make it more open and attractive to the public and tourists.
From now on, museums will become not only places for exhibits but also interactive spaces for knowledge and impressions.
