An intelligent transport system aimed at advancing the transport system to a new level is being introduced in Tashkent city. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This project is being implemented on the initiative of the head of state within the framework of a program aimed at modernizing the capital's infrastructure. The main goal of the new system is to facilitate city life and fundamentally change transport culture in the future.
The project plans to install modern video surveillance cameras and sensors to monitor road traffic, pedestrian flow, and passenger movement. The data collected by these devices will be analyzed, and traffic light operation modes will be automatically managed in real time.
This plays an important role in reducing congestion and balancing traffic flow on the roads. Additionally, when disruptions occur in public transport movement, the new system prioritizes buses and special vehicles.
This creates convenience for passengers and makes the use of public transport more reliable and efficient. The intelligent system also continuously monitors vehicles and special equipment.
The safety and operation of construction machinery are kept under control, high-risk areas for road traffic accidents are identified, and recommendations are developed to reduce them. Overall, these reforms serve to increase road traffic safety in Tashkent city, reduce congestion, and improve the efficiency of public transport.
In the future, city residents are expected to benefit significantly from these innovations in their daily lives. Source: zamin.uz.
