70 websites promoting gambling games have been blocked
An investigation was conducted by the Uzbekistan Competition Committee into the activities of websites promoting gambling games. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
During the monitoring, a total of 86 internet sources were checked. As a result, it was found that most of them were operating in violation of current legislation.
Based on the analysis results, nearly 70 websites engaged in illegal activities were blocked. These resources offered and advertised illegal gambling games, betting, and risk-based services to users.
As is known, according to Article 46 of the Law "On Advertising," advertising of gambling games and other risk-based games is strictly prohibited in Uzbekistan. The Competition Committee continues to take appropriate measures against such violations.
