For this purpose, a new system to support young specialists is being introduced in our country. According to this system, agronomists with high education and practical experience will receive a monthly salary of $2,000 and guaranteed jobs in regions specialized in agriculture.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized that this initiative serves to improve the quality of personnel in the agrarian sector. Currently, 180 students of the Agrarian University are undergoing practical training at leading farms and modern clusters based on a dual education system.
Farmers and cluster leaders who train them receive compensation of 5 million soums for each student. The students, in turn, receive a scholarship of 1.5 million soums per month.
Within this program, young specialists who gain experience will be directed to guaranteed jobs in 167 agrarian districts. They will contribute to increasing productivity by introducing modern agrotechnologies, promoting high-yield crop varieties, developing seed production, and reducing costs.
Setting a $2,000 salary for agronomists makes this profession more attractive to young people. This initiative not only enhances the prestige of the agronomy field but also helps form a new generation of specialists in agriculture.
