The increase in the commission fee for P2P transfers between cards via the Payme app has sparked intense discussions among users. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Previously, a 1 percent fee was charged for this service, but now it has been clarified that the fee is being applied at 1.1 percent. Nevertheless, the payme.uz website still displays the old 1 percent rate.
Regarding this issue, a Zamin.uz correspondent contacted Payme’s support service. An operator who introduced herself as Karina confirmed that the commission fee was indeed increased from December 4.
According to her, this change was implemented to further improve the app and enhance the quality of service. However, the most notable point is that users were not informed about this change in advance.
According to the operator’s explanation, information about the commission fee is only shown at the time the transaction is being made. This is explained as part of the offer terms.
Additionally, according to information circulated through some Telegram channels, the commission fee may have actually been increased two months ago. These claims raise even more questions regarding the situation.
So far, Payme has not provided an official explanation, which indicates that dissatisfaction and discussions among users continue. Source: Zamin.uz
