President of Paraguay to pay an official visit to Uzbekistan

From December 11 to 13, 2025, the President of the Republic of Paraguay, Santiago Peña, is expected to make an official visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

During the visit, high-level negotiations are planned to be held in the city of Tashkent. These meetings will discuss the development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Paraguay in political, trade-economic, cultural, and humanitarian fields.

Special attention is also expected to be given to establishing practical cooperation in agriculture, food and chemical industries, digitalization, tourism, and sports sectors. Partnerships in these areas will serve to further strengthen relations between the two countries.

President Santiago Peña will participate in the International Automobile Federation's General Assembly during the visit. He will also attend the award ceremony for the winners of sports competitions organized by the federation.

This visit is expected to be an important step in bringing mutually beneficial cooperation between Uzbekistan and Paraguay to a new level, strengthening bilateral relations, and defining priority areas. Source: one.uz
