
There has been a change in leadership in the rapidly developing Sergeli district of Tashkent city. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the city mayor's press service, Davron Rahimjonovich Ismatov has been appointed as the new governor of the district. Prior to this appointment, since February 2024, Davron Ismatov headed the Tashkent city main department of the Central Bank.
He has extensive experience in finance, having held important positions in public finance, the banking system, and economic management. Born in 1982 in Tashkent city, Davron Ismatov received higher education at the Tashkent Financial Institute.
Additionally, he studied at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. According to experts, his experience is crucial for developing the district's infrastructure, increasing economic activity, and creating favorable conditions for the population.
Previously, Elbek Shukurov had been leading Sergeli district since 2020. His new position has not yet been disclosed, but detailed information is expected to be provided in the coming days.
