
According to the Uzbekistan Republic Hydrometeorological Service Center (Uzhgidromet), from December 23 to 25, the air temperature in our country is expected to gradually rise, warming up to +5…+10 degrees during the day. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
During this period, the cold winter weather is gradually retreating. On Monday, the sky will be clear in most regions of the republic.
Only in foothill and mountainous areas is short-term rain or snow possible. On December 23–24, precipitation is not expected in most areas, but there is a chance of light snow in some places in Tashkent region and the Fergana Valley on the night and morning of December 23.
On December 25–26, precipitation mainly in the form of snow may be observed in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region. On December 26, rain or snow is also possible in some parts of Tashkent region.
In the remaining areas, the weather is expected to be stable. Night temperatures will be around –3…+2 degrees.
On December 22, daytime temperatures will be 0…+5 degrees, rising to +5…+10 degrees on December 23–25. On December 26, temperatures may drop again to +2…+7 degrees.
The wind will mostly blow from the east at light or moderate speeds. Fog is possible in some areas.
On December 22–23, icy conditions may be observed on the roads, especially in mountainous areas where caution is required. There remains a risk of snowfall and avalanches in these places.
In Tashkent city, the weather is expected to be without precipitation from December 22 to 25. Only light snow may fall on the night of December 23.
Fog is possible at night and in the mornings. The wind will blow at speeds of 3–8 m/s.
Daytime temperatures will be around +2…+4 degrees on December 22, rising to +7…+9 degrees on December 23–25. On December 26, temperatures will slightly decrease with a chance of rain.
Overall, the week will start with warm weather. However, it is necessary to remain cautious when traveling and moving in mountainous areas.
