
The Hydrometeorology Service Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan (“O‘zgidromet”) provided information about the weather expected across the country on December 24. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to it, although the weather will be variable in most regions, no precipitation is expected. However, fog formation and cold air are anticipated to persist.
In Tashkent city, fog may form during the night and morning. Winds will blow lightly from the east.
The weather will be cool at night, with daytime temperatures around 6–8 degrees Celsius. No precipitation is expected in the regions of Karakalpakstan, Khorezm, Bukhara, and Navoi.
In some areas, fog is likely, with nighttime temperatures dropping below zero and daytime temperatures expected to be moderately warm. Fog may also be observed in central regions, including Tashkent region, Syrdarya, Samarkand, and Jizzakh.
In these areas, cold will intensify at night, with daytime temperatures ranging from 5 to 10 degrees Celsius. Warm weather will persist during the day in the southern regions of Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya.
In the Fergana Valley, temperatures will be relatively low. Cold weather will dominate in mountainous areas.
Nighttime temperatures are expected to be between -8 and -13 degrees Celsius, with negative temperatures persisting during the day as well. Specialists urge drivers and citizens to be cautious in foggy weather.
