The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan has responded to the circulated information regarding the vehicle monitoring system. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Earlier, some sources had spread reports that it is possible to monitor transport movement across the country through this system. However, the ministry emphasized that these claims are unfounded.
According to the statement from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the system was provided by the Chinese company Maxvision. The system is installed by entrepreneurs, and information about violations is transmitted to the unified "Administrative Practice" system.
At the same time, the system undergoes strict cybersecurity checks. Citizens' personal data is kept confidential and is not reflected in photo or video materials.
To obtain information about fines, citizens can use special links or official applications. Only violations related to the respective citizen are shown in this system.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized the security and protection of the system and announced that all security requirements are ensured.
