
The Uzhydromet service has announced the weather forecast for December 29–31 and January 1. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to it, the New Year holidays across Uzbekistan are expected to pass under various weather conditions. There is a possibility of rain and snow in some regions, while in others warm and dry weather will be observed.
In the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region, the weather will be variable, with light rain possible in some places on December 29. On December 30, rain mixed with snow will fall in some areas.
No precipitation is expected on December 31 and January 1, but fog is likely. Wind speed will be 7–12 m/s, changing direction in some places.
Temperatures at night will range from 2 degrees below zero to 3 degrees above, and during the day from 3 to 10 degrees above zero. In Bukhara and Navoi regions, rain is possible in some places from December 29 to 31.
On January 1, the weather will be dry. Fog will be observed in some areas.
The wind will blow at 7–12 m/s, strengthening up to 18 m/s on some days. Temperatures will initially be 13–18 degrees above zero, then drop to 7–12 degrees above zero during the New Year days.
In Tashkent, Samarkand, Jizzakh, and Syrdarya regions, no precipitation is expected on December 29 and January 1. On December 30–31, rain may fall in some areas.
Fog is likely. Temperatures will initially be 13–18 degrees above zero, then around 5–10 degrees above zero on January 1.
In Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, the weather will be dry on December 29 and January 1, with rain possible in some places on December 30–31. Temperatures will gradually decrease from 14–19 degrees above zero to 7–12 degrees above zero.
In Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions, the weather will be variable, with rain possible in some places on December 30–31. Temperatures may drop from 10–15 degrees above zero to 3–8 degrees above zero.
In mountainous areas, the weather will be cold. Snowfall will occur occasionally, with fog and icy roads observed.
