December 29: Warm and variable weather in Uzbekistan

Short-term rain may occur in some districts. Similar weather conditions are expected in Samarkand region as well.

In Jizzakh and Syrdarya regions, strong winds will be the main feature. Wind speeds in these areas may increase up to 20–22 m/s.

Temperatures will range from +13…+18°C during the day to +3…+8°C at night. The warmest weather will be observed in Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions.

In these areas, daytime temperatures will reach +15…+20°C, while nighttime temperatures will be between +6…+11°C. The cold breath of winter will hardly be felt in the southern regions.

In northern regions, including Karakalpakstan and Khorezm, the weather will be considerably cooler. Daytime temperatures are expected to be +5…+10°C, dropping to between 0 and –5°C at night.

In the Fergana Valley, temperatures will be +6…+11°C during the day and drop to –2°C at night. The foothill and mountainous areas will be quite cold.

In these places, daytime temperatures will be +3…+8°C, with nighttime temperatures ranging from –3 to +2°C. There is a possibility of fog, rain, and snow.
