
The Hydrometeorological Service has announced the weather forecast for January 1–8. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the information, during these days the weather will be variable in most parts of the country, with precipitation and fog possible in some areas. Mainly dry weather will persist in Karakalpakstan, Khorezm, Bukhara, Navoi, Tashkent, Samarkand, Syrdarya, and Jizzakh regions.
However, on January 3–4, there is a possibility of rain and snow in some regions. Wind speed will generally be 7–12 meters per second, occasionally increasing up to 18 meters per second.
In Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, partial rain is expected on January 1 and 3. In Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions, the weather will mostly be calm between January 2 and 5–8, while rain may occur on other days.
In mountainous areas, rain and snow may occur from time to time, along with fog and strong winds. According to temperature forecasts, the air temperature will vary from 2 degrees below zero to 15 degrees above zero.
